Beta Reading
Stepping away from your book can be tricky.

Developmental Edits
Together we'll analyse the pace, structure, character progression, arc and climax.
As a result we'll create a messy Frankenstein draft (but don't be scared, it's all part of the process), unlocking new ideas and making your work flow.
Consistency
Does your character have blue eyes in chapter 1 and brown in chapter 12?
I'll make sure your story is consistent, showing the growth of your characters on their epic adventure, without the inconsistent distractions.
Proofreading
We will work together to polish your manuscript, looking at grammar, spelling, word choice, punctuation and formatting, getting it ready to send to agents and publishers.
Line Edits
Line by line I will review your novel, checking the flow from scene to scene, paragraph to paragraph, word to word.
We'll discover your most used crutch words, phrases you return to, all to keep your writing engaging for your reader.

How soon can I get feedback?
Feedback dates are set out in your package details, between 1 and 7 days depending on availability.
Do you understand the British accent?
​Yes! I was born in the South West and have a Devonshire accent myself.
Do you use AI in your reviews?
No.
How will I be given feedback?
For standard and premium packages, a minimum 3 page reader report PDF will be provided with insightful analysis and constructive feedback. I will also provide suggested edits into your document, typically Word or Google Docs.
